About Me
Greeting from warm and sunny central Florida. I have over 10 years of experience as a graphic designer and earned a UX/UI Design certification from the University of Central Florida in August 2023.
My career path started off as a dental assistant before earning my B.A. in Graphic Design at UCF. Having spent several years as a graphic designer, I came to the realization that I aspire to develop a deeper connection with the audience. This led me to the field of UX/UI Design. I initially believed that my skills as a graphic designer would be the most relevant, but surprisingly, it was the abilities I gained as a dental assistant that proved even more beneficial. Having empathy for the user is the fundamental objective for a successful user experience. Just as I established trust and demonstrated compassion to the patient as a dental assistant, I also strive to incorporate this mindset as a UX/UI designer.
In my free time I enjoy reading, gardening, kayaking and discovering new walking trails with my dogs.
